Andrea is a mom of 3 kids and the proud grandmother of 4. She graduated from the University of Arkansas Law School and has been in NWA for 11 years. Her goal is to use her Law Degree to serve and protect expectant moms.
Andrea owns McCurdy Law & Mediation and provides representation and legal counsel to expectant moms.
Michaela is an adoptive mom of 3 beautiful kids-Mya, Asher and Kade. She grew up in the cornfields of Ohio and received her degree from Cedarville University but loves Northwest Arkansas. Michaela and her husband Scott have been married for 11 years. Her passion is helping serve brave moms who want to make the best choice for their children.
Michaela is the Executive Director of Shared Beginnings.
Jadieann is a mom of 4 daughters. She is from Mejit, in the Marshall Islands. She attended the College of the Marshall Islands and studied Nursing and Liberal Arts. Jadieann and her family have lived in Arkansas now for 4 years. Her motto is “loving God by serving others”.
Jadieann is a Community Liaison and Translator for Shared Beginnings.
Felicia is a native New Mexican living the dream in Northwest Arkansas. She is happily married and has 9 children. Felicia loves creating safe and interactive environments for people to grow and thrive. She holds degrees in Biblical Studies, Social Work and Organizational Leadership. She is a licensed social worker in Arkansas.
Felicia is Shared Beginnings’ Director of Care.
Sara grew up in Arkansas and is a transracial adoptive mom and local birth photographer who is passionate about seeing others come to know and follow Jesus Christ.
Sara is Shared Beginnings’ Marketing Director and Volunteer Coordinator.
Brittany has been in Arkansas for 8 years. She placed a baby for adoption in 2006 and was connected to Shared Beginnings through our Birth Mom Brunch. She is a hairstylist at Freshair Salon and wants to give back to a community who loved her hard when she needed it the most.
Brittany is an Outreach and Care Coordinator for a Shared Beginnings.
Karen Hall Blackburn
Karen grew up in Northwest Arkansas and is a wife and an adoptive mom to three boys. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the UofA and is currently back in school, pursuing a masters degree in social work. She is passionate about advocating for, encouraging, and meeting the needs of expectant moms. Her desire to help build relationships between expectant mothers and adoptive parents to create an open and ethical adoption for the child is one reason she works at Shared Beginnings.
Sarah is an adoptee and an adoptive mom who is passionate about advocating for, and supporting, open adoption plans. Sarah holds undergraduate degrees in english and history and a graduate degree in professional and technical writing from UA Little Rock. For fun, she is currently working toward an MBA. She, her husband, and their son live in Little Rock.
Sarah is the Site Director for the Shared Beginnings in Little Rock.
